ROLE IN GOLF

The PGA of America’s commitment to achieving greater diversity in participation in the game and business of golf is a component of the Association’s strategic and annual business plans. Scholarship programs introduce young people of color to the golf profession, Play Golf America Days in minority communities and successful supplier diversity initiatives provide minority and women owned businesses access to the $76 billion golf industry. The PGA of America is proud to be a leader of diversity and inclusion in the golf industry through our workforce, supplier, member and player programs.

This initiative is championed by a select group of leading golf industry organizations that have partnered with The PGA of America in support of its Golf Industry Supplier Diversity Initiative, a unique program that strives to achieve greater diversity and participation in the game and business of golf. These organizations then extend the many benefits offered through the Initiative to their membership.
